First thing first ideally you need 2 ethernet wires one for ps3 and one for pc; but if you only have one then use in pc as it needs too for compatibility.
Download latest version of xbslink 0.9.4.1 Download link
Now set up your i.p on the ps3 to be static, for me i choose 192.168.1.185 but just make sure it is on same subnet as the pc, my ps3 is plugged to the router.
leave pc as dhcp address if it is already. use cmd ipconfig /all to get your i.p info if needed.
Set your settings in xbslive exactly like in the pic provided, now it should be ready.
click start engine and then join/create a lobby you then either join someones session on ps3 or create one.
