Nice gonna check it out now...
i already installed 220.127.116.11 (the one u rec'd)
i forwarded ports on my pc 30000-34522 tcp/udp
i also configured my ps3 for LAN so now my ps3 is connected to internet through ethernet to my router...so pc and ps3 are getting internet through ethernet to router
ok so i followed vid and have everything working now! good job with the video. So i tried to play black ops and went to france room and after tried to find a LAN game on multiplayer but found nothing. Also my username on blackops was just "Player", there was like 10-12 people there so i assumed a game would pop up.

whenevr ur around can u explain why we had to create a dmz for an ip address that neither the pc or ps3 uses?
thanks im not too networking saavy so i just want to make sure i didnt open the floodgates...lol
i assume im safe, i created my dmz same as u, 192.168.1.85, i dont think neither my pc or ps3 uses that address since it configures ip automatically and probably assigns a single digit like 2-9
also why dmz if u r forwarding the one port (30000) u need, y open them all with dmz??
ok im glad the video help u get it setup. ummm as far as dmz goes i really dont know why u need to do that. ima see if u need it or not cuz i feel the same way about it as u do. also i forgot to mention that the reason u couldnt see any games is that u need to have the same game version installed. for black ops its version 1.09.

update 3--- i forgot to mention on video that u must have the same game version of the game your playing or u will not be able to see any open games and no 1 will be able to join your game. for example if u wanna play black ops on xlink kai u must have update version 1.09 in order to play with every 1 else.

I have bridged connection. in ps3 settings all automatic, except the DCHP server.
In that spot i entered my ip from my pc( of course i have static ip for PC.
i have seen that setup before but to me it kinda defeats of purpose of being "wireless". if you could have your ps3 connected to your router and not have to have your laptop connected to anything now that is wireless. also i dont own a desktop, only laptops i really like the idea of portability. i have intel core i7, nvidia graphics, pretty much all the goodies i need. i soon will be trying to have a wireless setup. by that i mean to have ps3 connected to router but no ethernet cable connected to my laptop.
