So how long do you guys think this will last?

Being able to use ****psn to go online and using that psid method to still get online if and when you are banned. How long do you guys think this method of getting online despite having 3.55 cfw will last? Im currently using it and loving it but I'm just wondering what everybody else thinks. How likely is it that they can change something up with their servers to not let this happen?

(Not quite sure how ****psn or PSID works but I assume something can be done on Sonys end).

They're gonna update PSN and then we'll have to get another way to get in.

by the end of this month they should have a patch out to stop people from going online, as for banning consoles etc I am not sure,

it seems like they are banning people on a case by case basis, so they are really slow in doing what they are doing, instead of Microsoft who just flooded the bans

As I've said in another thread, Sony will roll out new PSN server software with accompanying PSP and PS3 firmwares and then we won't be able to go online anymore. But since it's quite a lot of work it'll take maybe 2-3 months.

will be nice to not see posts regarding "how do i get online w/o sending my info to Sony"…easy, with no PSN access, why would you even want to take your PS3 online? the browser sucks! Even the Wii seems to have a better browser! (IMO), with the amount of people using smart phones, owning multiple consoles, and multiple computers, using the internet won't be a problem and there will be no reason to even take the PS3 online once the F***PSN method is gone! But, we will be bombarded with n00bs asking "Can we use PSN any other way other than F***PSN since its no longer working?"

Will Sony really bother with all that?

In all reality how man modded consoles are really abusing the system? Cant be that many and how many will get YLOD?

Every time Sony update thier software they get it worng, you always hear about legitamate users who have had their PS3`s FUC*ED, there are even court cases fighting Sony over Fuc*ed consoles.

Sony has F'ed up more systems with their own update than Waninkoko V1 CFW….

So a good reason NOT to update to 3.56….There are NUMEROUS reports of 3.56 messing up systems, hence they had to release V2 (is Waninkoko working for them??)

once the SCEA v Geohotz trial actually starts

(after they establish jurisdiction etc..)

we will see one massive ban wave

mark my words!

even "legit" owners will face the banhammer
