does this app block console id? if not? can charles proxy and ps3dns be used to remap the servers that way?

EDIT:
for evry 1 who gets "black ops server is not avalibale" u need to do this
deleted the game data then download it again (via changing the NP invirnment to np insteat of SP-INT download the update then change it back to SP-INT) and the game works fine

The server retriever crashes too often. :/

Anybody got any luck running this on a mac? I've got the app running in windows vista on parallels desktop, it's saying its remapping and i see traffic between the ps3 and this app but in call of duty it says server not avalibale. I've followed the guide correctly, made a new acount and updated the game in np envirement and then changed back to sp-int. Any help would be appreciated very much.......

any bans with this method yet. this method has been out for awhile. I wanna try it but not if there are bans starting to go around due to this method.

when your logged unto the Developer's network (sp-int or prod-qa), your basically informing S0ny "Hey look here!!!! i'm in a network which i don't belong to! Please kindly log me down for any future action you may have."

Only a handful of people are supposed to be on the network, e.g developers and other game tester / staff of game companies. So it's very easy for S0ny to filter out CFW users. What they gonna do about it? I don't know. But if i want to gather all the CFW users together and strike them off, i would just wait and let them have a ball of a time before doing anything to maximize damage. Also, by hijacking a network beyond retail terms & conditions gives S0ny a valid reason to lay any firm actions down.

So yea, bans are likely. As for when, we'll see in due time.
