Random 8002A231 error...anyone else get this?

So here is my story,

I own 2 ps3s, one which is hacked, and one which I bought recently for online.

The hacked one has been offline since the day I got the warning email from sony, and only again once, a few days back to update a few games.

The second console, is brand new and has only had OFW on it since I bought it. I havent played online with it in over 2 weeks, and only used it the other day to go on vidzone. Today I turn it on, and to my suprise get a nice 8002A231 error message

So i'm wondering, would the ban be from me putting the hacked one online again to get those few updates? as I can't see any other reason for the ban and am yet to get an email from sony explaining why or the duration of the ban.

So I was just wondering has anyone else with a similar setup run into the same problem?


NOTE: It is only an account ban, and not a console ban, as another account I have still works fine.

They'll suspend you for anything, hate speech, harassment, team killing, playing music over the headset(I personally hate this shit, especially if I can't mute that single person)

And they don't need proof half the time...just try not to make enemies online...

Thats the reason for the post, I don't use a headset, and hardly play online :\. Just curious to see if it may be that I put the other ps3 online to get updates, hence asking if anyone else has had the same issue with a similar setup.

Your account are banned or suspended . Means if you do a new account you will get online on the ofw one but the cfw one i am pretty sure you will get error code 8002A227 if you try to get online on that. Sony is ban crazy

haha yea I know what the error is, but as I said before, just seeing if anyone has had the same issue in a similar/same situation, as it could be sony banning anyone who has put their hacked console back online, accounts.
