I only connected to PSN 2 or 3 times, downloading the PSP Adhoc program and a few episodes of the tester. I used a temporary email to make the account for PSN so I can't check to see if I got a ban email from Sony.

Is there anyone else who connected to PSN using their CFW/Modded PS3, but did not play any games on PSN and get the letter/banned?

I've never played a game online and I haven't gotten an email. That said, I'm pretty sure bans will be coming for anyone who signs on after agreeing to that ToS without being on OFW.

Didn't get a email, then again, I only used it to sync my trophies.

Hey bro when and what time did you get your email?? I havent received an email yet and I'm from your neck of the woods(in Auckz). To answer the OP I havent received an email yet. I didnt jump on PSN(never did the DNS trick) until the cert trick popped up earlier this week. Ive never played any games online earlier than release date eg. Killzone 3. I played MW2 online a couple of days ago and online with GT5. MW2 was my backup and GT5 was my original. I've checked all my email accounts for this PS3.... nothing wrong with 'em. I'm guessing its totally random and after reading that email it seems we might be reading too much into it.
    Eg.

The way this is worded I thought this is more of an example and what actions you should take SHOULD you have said circumvention device on your PS3. This would also explain the random emails to legit and jailbreak owners alike.
