Oh yeah shit thanks for reminding me of that. Hopefully this issue is related to that (although on the other hand the motive of the update could be to kick us out).

Got the message ..I live in central texas...im using a ps3 slim, ti 84 calculator with several different payloads and still get the message. the last thing i did before i was prompted to update was repatch my blackops multiplayer to allow me to go online...just giving as much info as i can incase anyone can use it....my friend has a retail console im about to have him update and give me the info on system version and if psn is even up....give me one minute

1. pl3 no auth syscalls 3.41 (psn and 3.50 spoof)
2. EUR
3. No error code, just says i require an update, (even when i spoof 3.50 and when using just normal pl3 PSN patch one also)

The maintenance in AUS / EUR does not affect North America. I think this is legit as others have said 3.50 consoles are online properly. Silent update?

yeah its seems its i just tried and it asks me a new software update is available

3-no Errors just asks to update .

Yeah the US site says it will be down from 8-5 pm on Thursday.. So check it later today

Just tried a non hacked ps3 (flatmates) and its a network error for him, no prompt to update the system. Must just be some Jailbreak glitch were it THINKS it needs a update but infact it doesn't. Hope it all comes good after maintenance period.
