Play online in 3.41 using xlink kai!

Just curious to see if anyone else is interested in playing games that include system link. I thought since most of us here can no longer get on PSN we could build the Xlink PS3 community. Here is the website.

I haven't used the service since the original Xbox days, but will be back on there shortly.

I should have my Teensy board any day now, and will be playing on there soon.
If anyone has any problems with the service there is a massive forum there with plenty of tutorials on how to get everything up and running, but if you are having problems post up here and I will do what I can to help.

Isn't the lag quite bad and from what I can remeber there weren't alot of people on when I did it back in the xbox days.

well right now theres about 200 users on the xbox 360 server but on ps3 theres about 4 lol.
hopefully more ppl join. and there isnt any lag .

Yeh, they's a 30ms limit although those with Jtags can patch that..

I've been trying to get PS3er's on there for a while, make use of it since it's already there! Only problem is getting MW2 to load on Herme's and we're sorted!!

One of the new dashboards for Jtags (FSD2) is gonna have a login etc for X link Kai on the console, still need the engine on a pc though (would love if it was in-built, maybe some day).

Someone else mentioned editing the IP that the PS3 uses for PSN, could be interesting!

I hope more people snag these hackable boxes while they're there and don't update (such a shame the lack of Jtag-ables) because then more people will be on JB servers!

X Link is picking up alot i go in there with my Jtag and modded Games lol good laugh when there is a load on.
I was on there with my PS3 also just to set it up works fine on it, it see the ps3 only thing is the games and system link think they will need TU's updates or something like that helps connect better like the 360 game alls i do is add the new TU's to my cache folder on the root of my hdd on ths Jtag i have the ping limit remover patched up with dash launch and can connect to anyone in the US and other places.
So hopefully someone will figure it out for the PS3 .. hint hint lol

O and anyone that wants to try it Port Forward your router to = UDP 30000 ...and your good to go power off your ps3 start X Link up then power your ps3 up xlink will see the ps3 then............

Ah whopper J2G, I'm from Dublin! We should try get a big clan together or something, less lag that way! Could set up a .webs.com account and throw a link in our sig's..

Was thinking, I have a MW2 disk and can just boot without the JB device (since MW2 won't work from BM) and play it online that way, been missing it bad!

which game or gamez did u play and how high was the ping?
i ll wait 4 a proof that it rly worx be4 i connect PS3 in2 net...

201 for xbox 360
418 for psp
311 for xbox

but basiclly most of what people play on kai, is fps games, or incase of psp then mmo-like games

Does it work with 3.41 jailbroken PS3? I'd like to try Warhawk and others.

I also wonder if some games require connection to PSN prior to play in LAN. For instance, Unreal Tournament III is listed among supported games, but I can't find a LAN option in main menu.
