Online Gaming With TB

Hi everybody, can somebody clear my confusion please, I'm on TB 2.7 and using f***psn 0.8 i can log in to the PSN network but the game is asked for an update(BF3) and stupid enough on my part i did it and now the game is unplayable, i deleted the game and i'm in the process of copying it back, meanwhile i tried another game (MK9) and is also asking for an update, i guess my question is am i going to be able to play the games on my jailbroken PS3 online or f***psn is for other purposes?

If they require updates for online play then no as updating the game causes it to be unplayable (as this has been always the case with 3.60+ games) so it's possible that most of the older game will play online but as for most of the newer games it'll be more of a trial and error as IS believe that no one is going to work very hard on a online compatibility thread because hard telling how long we'll have it

I was going to ask the same question. So, what if we change PARAM.SFO version to 50.00 to avoid game updating? Can we play the games then?

No as most of the updates for online play are EBOOT update which at current we cannot patch because we don't have the keys publicly

I've worked on PARAM changing for 3 hours, I changed Red Dead Redemption and FIFA 12 (PSN)'s version needs and they connected to servers. Gran Turismo 5 didn't work, it's using different login type.

just use the game updater. it tells you if the update is compatable with CFW.
