Online Cracked Server Community; possible?
Online Cracked Server Community; possible? –
I was discussing with my cousin the other day how really the ONLY downside to all this jailbreaking is that we cant play online.
I then told him, wouldn't it be cool if the devs made like there own online community similar to PSN, where we could all connect too and play our games on cracked servers.
Am i dreaming or is this in ANY reach to become a reality?
Dont slam me for this, im just possibly opening up an idea for discussion.
We can play online. It's called Xlink Kai. Only works with system link games. Search next time.
I assume that it would require 3 major developments;
* Custom PS3 firmware
* Recoding of some portion of each game
* Quite expensive server infrastructure
I don't think it's worth dreaming about just yet, even if we get the first two, someone will have to pay for the servers. Sorry to burst your bubble.
what would be nice is if we had some where to sync our trophies to as i bought a new ps3 for jailbreaking and after messing around with it afew times and formating diffrent hdd you loose any current trophies you have!
You would need the console server application for EACH online game to be cracked ... and since there was never a console server leak, it won't happen
Use XLink Kai
What is this XLink Kai? I remember using something similar back in the days of the original XBOX to play Battlefront II....
is there any tutorials around? and a list of games that support it?
It's crap, too many meet ups, and the lag is horrible when you are to far away. It was crap in the xbox days too.

some do also have a gigabit server =) it should be good possible to make an own network =) =) =)
Thanks man, i owe you one!
i might give this a miss tho, there aren't many "good" games supported... so i might wait it out and see what happens.
Thanks a lot tho! i will bookmark it just incase!
