nhl 11 roster update download

hey is there anyway i can update the nhl 11 roster without accessing my psn?

Yes! Find an offline roster file over at OS(Operation Sports). FTP it over to your PS3 after creating a save to match on your HDD. Over-write all files except for the PARAM.SFO file. Done!

some guy on that site said it's impossible to share the nhl rosters and that i must dl it directly from ea

yea, unless you get the roster save un lock it and then upload. i fell really dumb right about now, i had the chance to download rosters for all my sports games and i forgot NHL. sorry man

Well, it can be done. I've FTP'd numerous EA Sport roster files to my PS3 and they all work. All you do is create a roster save on HDD. Take the offline roster save and over-write all files except for the PARAM.SFO file.

It's worked for me on numerous game saves. Find you an offline save for NHL 11 and try it out.

Edit: Members over at OS are saying it can't be done with NHL 11. I don't know why. I can do this for other EA Sports games. Maybe they done something different with NHL 11. Give it a try anyhow as I stated.

What's so different about the EA Sports NHL 11 roster files & the other EA Sports games roster files? I don't get it!

Have you confirmed this is working? I ask because members over at OS state offline saves don't work with NHL 11. I don't see why not myself. I've used FTP for quite a few EA Sports game saves. What would be different about this games roster files than other EA Sports games roster files?
