Netflix Crashes –
I've been using 3.55 CFW with F***PSN 0.5 successfully to this point. (I can still get on PSN without problems).
But yesterday Netflix crashes everytime I run it. It starts to load (I see the Netflix red screen), but then it crashes to the XMB every time.
Do you think this is an issue with PSN or Netflix looking for 3.56? Or is my Netflix app corrupted somehow (it worked in the same configuration until Saturday).
Should I reinstall CFW 3.55?
Any thoughts, ideas, help?
Delete it and download it again.
Heppend to me too.
I decided to come back online to use Netflix on my PS3 again. I've been offline for a few weeks since the bans started coming about, previously using charles and now I've setup F***PSN with the 3.56 spoof.
I noticed there is a Netflix update 2.02, and after installing this I get sent back to the XMB with a 80010009 error. Tried deleting and reinstalling several times, and deleting netflix out of my gamedata. I still get 80010009.
same here, Looks like they fixed it. I was running 3.56 spoof and fpsn.
if you remove the 3.56 spoof it tells you you need to update your firmware.
And wile running 3.56 spoof you get an error code and kicked back to XMB.
I found a fix on another forum, that happens to be down at the moment so I'll just explain here. The 2.02 netflix patch was just a patch to check if you're on 3.56 firmware, but there is a way around it. I did not create this and am not taking credit.
What you need to do is delete your Netflix and re-download to 2.01, it will try to update to 2.02 but quit and don't let it. Download MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service PARAM.SFO and put that in /game/NPUP00030, and restart your PS3. If you did this right and check the info for netflix in the XMB it should say it's version 2.02 and work like normal.
follow directions to a t.
