I think that you shouldn't need to enable a static ip. Just let DHCP and UPnP do the work.

Correct, you must use automatic settings, so that xlink can provide the correct configuration

And as I said before, one way or another you must have your PS3 see xlink's DHCP offer before it sees your router's DHCP. That is why generally people say "wifi doesn't work", although that is still technically possible. It just makes it more complicated.

Xlink kai wont work wirelessly. Both the pc and ps3 need ot be connected via ethernet to the same router.

You may get it to work wirelessly (which I have never seen, only rumors) but it will be a miracle.

Just google evo7 xlink kai tutorial.

If you have lag in the game your ports are most likely forwarded incorrectly.

what if i dont have router, because of shared public IP so cant forward ports?
i can c someone else connected with PSP in Xlink Kai and only MAC adress of my PS3 without un/recognizing it, which means its working but why not 4 me?
tried everything e.g. restarting PS3/PC, disabling firewall, changing port, both clients 7.3 & 7.4 where it is showing that i am reachable, so dunno what 2 do

You are running a ps3 not a psp. Do you see a lan/ethernet port on a psp?? :-/

i said that have shared IP so that is PSP of another client of my ISP & i c it is configured succesfully, but it is showing only MAC adress of mine PS3...

EDIT: after day of trying i was able 2 connect via xlinkai, but played only 1 zombie game in COD:BO and never found a game in normal LAN search list :/
