-First I'd like to start by saying my ps3 isn't jail broke or anything like that, but if doing so can help me I will.
Okay, so I'm playing DCUO on the ps3. What I'm looking to find is a macro controller that I can use to preform macro during pvp,pve etc. So in my three months of searching I've found a controller that let you use macros by split fish.
After I received the controller and start playing and creating a macro I found out that this controller can't tell the difference between a tap and hold. Basically the game has combos that go like tap square twice then hold square. But the controller doesn't take into count how long the button is pressed, it just records it as a tap. Does anyone know of a controller that can be programmed for this type of game?
I've been reading about this Teensy +++ macro thing.Would this work for me? Also I know there are keyboards that allow macros to be set up, could I possibly use one of those on the ps3? I know they make adapters like eagle eye but I don't think it allows enough mapping to use the full function of the board.
Just to be clear DCUO is a action MMO that uses a action game fighting system that allows for combos to be done though tap and holds of button like square and triangle. The cool thing about this game is that they also have ways to cancel the animation of a combo, but the damage continues. So on the PC version you can use macro programs like "autoit" to macro a combo and a way to cancel it. So you do like 5 combos but in game it only shows one combo animation. The combat log will show you were hit for 700 five times in a row in a matter of seconds.
