How do you get banned?

Really? I've had CFW since 3.55 and play a lot of MWF2, how do you explain me not being banned?

I've seen several banned people on this board admit to cheating, so I don't know how you can draw the opposite conclusion.

Can you tell me how you get online with CFW? Is it by any chance hiding yourself from Sony?

So far I haven't been hiding consoleid, they could easily ban me.

I do use multiman though which removes the activity log.

I've been also online since weeks and Sony doesn't ban me. Sony bans are speculations.. not reality. It they do something they will just block DNS access, but not ban.

We're able to use ****psn for almost 15 days since Sony's mass emailing...
Now with 3.60 coming along, we're gonna see if we can avoid beeing banned or not.

there are alot of things a person can do to get themselves banned from PSN. Sony made a statement on ther blog with a list of things that will get you ban. on ther list was glitching and cheating but that is a CO-OP between sony and the games manufactor. bad language or affending someones race gender blah blah blah most likely those will be account ban temp or permanent. CFW and homebrew most likely will be console ban like the 360. but no one really knows how sony will ban people. just remember play cheat free no bad mouthing and you lower your chances. spoffers console id hides history log wipes those are good to buy you time but there are other ways sony can see into your ps3 and as long as your ps3 is connect there is always a risk of being ban

ok then. so far the only people that have been banned are people that are cheating? everyone else playing online mp with cfw has not been banned?

As it stands the most bans being given out are to cheaters, who are pretty easily caught. Those using CFW were given warnings and but most avoided bans by staying offline or using any the numbers of way to access PSN without being caught.
