PSNinja does not infact make files read only! Damn lol
I tried the tutorial using openPS3FTP and winscp/filezilla and each time i try to change the permissions it fails, not sure why at all.
Help?
Same here, i've tried with both winscp and flashFXP to no avail.
Everytime i come back to check the files after running a few games the attrib is changed back to rw and the files have been written to, ?????
I just won using winscp =)
Make sure you're using the newest OpenPS3FTP i was using an older one, didnt realise lol.
Dashhacks :: PS3-Hacks :: OpenPS3FTP v1.4
Hope that works for ya
K think i got it.... Hang tight, more tests
Just started up a few different homebrews and went and checked the lists again they were still blank and stil Read only access, gunna reboot and try again to make sure it sticks!
I noticed the lists containing different BLES/BLUS codes for the games before i deleted them, i think it might be worth editing these files with legit games and making a few different ones to swap out every now and then.
Surely sony can do bugger all for blank pushlists considering a lot of people just bought ps3s for media/bluray.
Ok heres what i figured out. I blanked the files and changed the attrib to read only with WinSCP I ran the snes and nes emulator and then openps3ftp and checked the files.....still blank.
Rebooted, ran cod, openps3ftp and checked files....still blank
Ran multiman and then loaded a backup. Ran the backup and then loaded openps3ftp..... Files written too and attribs changed to rw.
The files only contained the game i ran and openps3ftp though, so im thinking multiman is changing the attrib back....is there a setting in the ini file for this?
Yes there is, have to change clear activity logs in multiman ini file to 0
Reinstall multiman with the ini file on the usb drive set the way you want it
Kk that did it, after running multiman and running a backup and openps3ftp this time....all file blank.....sweet
nice oneI almost forgot about multiman, i usually just use gaia manager but changed my multiman config just incase =D everything seems solid.
No more fiddling with history wipers
Thanks OP!!
