Help with Xlink Kai

My mac id is in blu on diagnostics, my network card is detected and locked.. problem is.. network reachable: Not Yet.. i have port forwarding set up, but it keeps saying please check port forwarding and closes kai window.. im losing my hair over this.. can any1 help?

Finally!!! i can see games pop up, but now i get connection lost to host everytime i try to join a game

do u have to port forward with xbslink aswell?

No is not necessary. But if your having problem then you have to.

If your router supports dynamic port mapping via UPnP, no. XBSlink can automatically open a port for you. If your router does not have this ability, you have to manually add a port forwarding.

Why do i get the message "Your XBSlink is not reachable from the internet (port closed)" when i start the XBSlink engine?

XBSlink uses a peer to peer (P2P) protocol. If you are behind a NAT Firewall (like a home dsl router) a port has to be forwarded to your computer in the LAN. XBSlink can do this for you if UPnP is enabled on your router or you can do it manually. The standard port for XBSlink is 31415. To disable this warning uncheck the "use cloud server to check incoming port" option in the XBSlink settings. If you try to join a cloud as a "port closed" node, you will not be able to connect to other "port closed" XBSlink nodes.

first of all is it UDP or TCP to port forward

and in the router do i need to put in ip of my laptop or my ps3
to port forward to?

It's both UDP & TCP.. Also, add the IP of the laptop.

but is it necessary an easier to wire my ps3 directly to my laptop an have a wireless connection with mij dsl/router 4 internet

then i won't have to port forward anything wright?
