i got a different letter LoL

if i upgrade to OFW 3.56 can i get psn access back?

btw i have ps3x5 , the 1 log on psn yesterday got banned

I have not received the email nor did I get banned. I deleted everything and then afterwards I went on to user 1 account and updated. So I think that is why I did not get banned. I also did the dns tricka while back that says you are on a higher firmware but I reset my connection. Everything works fine I am going to take my additional hard drive and run 3.55 geohot on it.

I got the mail, but I´ve got no idea if I´ve been banned. I haven´t tried signing in to PSN after the DNS trick stopped....

I got the same EMAIL just like yours but i can still login to PSN using my PSP.. but i didnt try on my PS3

if you try to log in on the playstation website you are still able to log in but yeah, not sure if we can still log in on the console

well i got home and test it on my PS3.. and yes my console cant login anymore, i tried creating a new PSN account but no luck still cant login

just called sony and got the answer

this is a console ban which mean can still use my account on another PS3 with OFW^^

Not banned as of yet. Did get the warning email but still able to go on psn. Been playing Marvel vs Capcom 3 all day and will continue to go on psn till I'm banned.

It's either you stay off psn which is pretty much a self ban or go nuts and have some fun and get banned by Sony. I choose to have fun while I can with this console.

If I decide I can't live without PSN (ha) then I'll just save up a bit of money out of my paycheck and pick up a new ps3 for online purposes.

I got the warning e-mail too. It'd be nice to know how Sony's deciding who gets a warning and who simply gets banned.
