Has anyone actually got banned?

I been reading that a lot of people did get the warning message but I haven't seen anyone posting an actual proof of being banned on the PSN, has anyone got a ban yet or Sony is just giving warnings?

Yeah... I meant a recent ban from CFW those posts are from 2008 and 2009

I never even got the email. Who knows what Sony will or wont do, I mean hell, they didn't even send warning messages to everyone thats been on PSN with a jailbroken console. Its a waiting game, just like it has been for the past 6 months.

I don't think Sony has started banning yet. Wouldn't doubt they will soon though, so be careful.

On another note:
I have yet to receive an email from Sony, but my console is still 3.41 and using traditional JB methods.

I have never been online with my modded PS3. Only time the ethernet cable is actually plugged in is to transfer stuff over LAN. The only notification I get from PSN is that I need to update my software.

And finally:
To the OP, title should say "Has anyone...", not "Have anyone...".

I would think if Sony knows you need a fw update, then your console/privacy may already be compromised?

I would not doubt it. I don't have much to lose though.

The only thing they can do is ban my console. I used PSN maybe a dozen times in the time I have owned this console (~2.5 years) and used the PSN Store maybe two times.

Months before the JB came out I reformatted my console and never re signed-into PSN. So I haven't had a PSN account tied to this unit for 10+ months.

Online gaming isn't my cup of tea anymore, I lost interest a couple years back. Too many lamers. I use my PC and PS3 for gaming and my 360 is more of a toy. Wii isn't a gaming console imho, so I don't own one

Worst comes to worst, everything gets banned and I make a new PSN account. This time, registered to 12346 Main Street.

Got the email, but I'm still on 3.55 so I've no idea if I've been banned.
