Either use the recovery menu to rebuild the database, or delete the dev_hdd0/mms folder and it will force the ps3 to rebuild it. Either should work.

Yes, A 3.55 "jb" (cfw) is available, no >3.55 "jb" or cfw yet.
Yes, A 3.55 downgrade is available. But not to lower than stock firmware! (What it came with)
No >3.55 downgrade is out there yet.

Both suggestions I made do (pretty much) the same thing. Trying the recovery mode option won't help.
Im afraid you'll just have to keep an eye out for a link to the installer pkg files, instead of the pre-installed files, they should (hopefully) make your dlc work.

Just to put it out there and kinda announce something.
The DLC content for DA2 was pirated and uploaded to a private bittorrent site I'm a member of, so it IS possible to pirate DLC content.
Now, I use the world pirate because there is no way to legitimately pay for it at this point so mods stay off me.
Anyway, I'm just throwing it out there that it is possible at least in some circumstances to pirate DLC content.

I'm hoping, praying that the new ME2 dlc arrival content can be pirated also since I can't get onto psn to buy it.
I want to play that stuff so bad...

If you download the files from the previous post and put them in your game folder, like the folder you backed DA2 up to so like not the ps3/game folder but the multiman/GAMES folder.
    /ps3_game/usrdir/packages/core/override/addins
put the files there and they will work without pre-authorization
If this isn't supposed to be known I guess edit my post, but this guy paid for the content so I'm just telling him how to use it.
