Still down.![]()
Lets hope that the loophole is closed so that lamers and filthy pirates don't clog that branch of the network.
None of us normal users need to be on there anyway, there is no defense for it.
Sorry you feel that way. Some of us quite like it.![]()
while i agree that it should stay close, why call us filthy?
as if you havent pirated anything in your life, every one on this scene is or has been a pirate.
i stopped pirating games a long time a go, then sony started their shit, so i decided to put the patch on, and i will continue to pirate cus it has been proven that piracy does not hurt the industry.
so while you call us filthy, look in the mirror so you can see all the shit thats on your face.
^^^
how does pirating not hurt the industry? You pirated a game, that's one less sale, which is one less incrimental value of sales revenue to the developer. I don't think developer's children are going hungry because people pirate games, but to say that it does not hurt the industryis absolutely ludicrous. If you're going to make such a statement at least link to a university conducted study, otherwise you are just spreading misinformation. I understand the argument that pirates wouldn't buy the game anyways, but if you take away the ability to pirate completely those same people might be singing a different song, you never know, so don't act like you do.
lol your funny, but if you never intended to buy said game, how is that a loss? lol
i buy games that i think are worth my money, even before i couldnt pirate, i would buy the ones i thought was worth the price, the other ones i would rent, therefor not really helping devs out much at all, and now that i can pirate, i dont rent i download them and pirate the shit out of them.
like i said, if u had no intention to buy the game in the first place, theres no money lost.
Also, when you buy a used game, none of that money goes to the publishers or makers of the game. It only goes to the person or corporation who originally bought it. The rise of selling and buying used games is what is hurting the industry.
You could say thay the PS3 will be feeling this soon, and many "pirates" sell off their old games. For awhile now, used PS3 games have been going for more then used xbox360 games. I hope we see a level market soon, and our beloved xbox is not the only one taking the front of the blow.
