I've been working on this all night with Waninkoko's 3.55 v2..

1st off Get the new Dev_blind 1.0 (just came out today, you know where to find it!) to write your cert to your firmware... all other programs wont work with Waninkoko.

Ok just follow the instructions posted at page 1...

then do this for all you win 7 and win 7 64 bit peeps..

Right click on the PS3DNS.exe and go to properties.. Then change the compatability to Win XP SP3 and run as admin.. BAM!!!!!!!

WORKING!!!!!

I think you'll get logged out. But I closed it earlier while I was still signed in and nothing happened.

That's what I'm saying. I was still signed in and nothing happened. I didn't get kicked off. My question is, since I'm not kicked off PSN, what is the real consequence of closing PS3DNS? Are we going to get logged by Sony or somethin'?

The tutorial DID say "you MUST not close PS3DNS."

TIP: Use the PSN section in the XMB to sign in for the first time once you have everything setup.

I was relying on the internet connection test to see if PSN was working. It kept failing (auth server was replying with an NG reason=40). Had to accept the new TOS before it would let me on. Wasted over an hour for nothing

In GT5 after logging in in the GT5 menu it tells me that I need the latest firmware, but I'm alrdy on 3.55 Kmeaw. LBP2 doesn't work either. It loads a lil bit and before I'm in the menu it says couldn't connect to server n stuff.

thankyou to OP, took about 20mins to go through your guide, had to manually put the ps3-updatelist at C: due to error. Anyways, all working after a reboot of PS3, can use the store and download ok!

after a very long time, finally i can conect my ps3 to psn..thanks to everyone...
a question:
when is connected to psn, send console ID...is possible to change something?

would be nice to do that, any way to change it? where i could find mine so i could spoof another and avoid ps3 ban (i think that mac addred shlould be spoofed also but maybe psn using this is getting mac adress from the pc)
