It seems my PS3 wont even try and connect with charles at all. PS3dns has no changes .
Got it working Thanks ALOT!! Guys I noticed that if you use the packed charles config file it does not work because instead of http://feu01.ps3.update.playstation....updatelist.txt it has something like 00.ps3.update.playstation.net:80/update/ps3/list/eu/ps3-updatelist.txt that is the reason many people get errors i believe.
My real IP ends with .199 but in ps3dns I get:
[DNS] Query from 192.168.0.109 for feu.blah blah redirecting to 192.168.0.199
and this 109 keeps changing and charles ask if I want to add it to access control all the time. I get fail of course in ps3 internet connection
I get this but does not sign in in ps3
Mapped to local file: C:\ps3-updatelist.txt
[DNS] Query from 192.168.0.108 for feu01.ps3.update.playstation.net - redirectin
g to 192.168.0.199
Here's what i did, after messing around hours on end using this guide i gave up, i followed another 1 and here it is, works 100% im online black ops now.
Make sure that the CA24 certificate file is also placed in charles, it's explaned in the guide, hope i helped a few. Also i had wired my laptop to the router, not sure if that matters.
apparently everyone cfw or ofw says black ops servers are currently down. i justlogged off because of it.
Probably to ban the influx of cheaters that just got back online again.

i just want to add my voice with all those that say that ps3dns.exe crashes upon start up saying:
"PS3 DNS REDIRECT HAS STOPPED WORKING"...
i already have ps3dns.exe AND arssoft inside the same folder which lies in my Downloads folder.
If anybody managed to get this fixed, please provide info for the rest of us...
people with crashing, do you have data execution prevention on? Have you added to the list? I know I had problems with some programs before with that. I have win7 64bit and have no problem here, maybe because it is turned of? Is it called DEP or something?
and now ?
