    This is my modded version of F*ckPsn v0.5 by drizzt.

    This version resolves the IP address of auth.np.ac.playstation.net in case this is changed by $0ny (If it is unable to resolve the domain name the default 199.108.4.73 will be used)

    It also checks to see if the above IP address is reachable on port 443 and notifies you on success or failure.

    Identifies and displays your computers internal IP address (If it is unable to detect your LAN IP it will default to 0.0.0.0)

    And has a nice colourful layout

    yes here is a screeny of what I did and it is actually push to the ****psn git repo

    actually all micr0shaft would have to do is share his version of ****Psn.rb or you can copy it from the temp dir when you launch it on windows and replace it with the version of his

    It's not gonna matter guys! I appreciate all the effort from modders/hackers/developers but Sony isn't playing around. Use this at your own risk. If you've not had your console on PSN with CFW keep it that way guys.

    If you already have but haven't received an email from Sony yet then this probably isn't going to hurt. You're already flagged for an email more than likely.

    @tonybologna that is good advice but I think the only way to be safe now is to have to ps3's one for home brew and another one for psn each ps3 should have a seperate psn login though :-) I guess only time will tell

    Besides guys, this modded version is coming from a person with his 1st post guys. You don't jump on stuff like this until further investigation. I'm not saying it can't be trusted but just a heads-up. It's not going work anyhow in my opinion.

    I only post when I have something to ask I can't figure out myself by goggling/reading other posts or if I have something useful to post..

    Here's the VirusTotal report fot the compiled .exe (0/43)

    And the ****Psn.rb I edited straight from git://gitorious.org/****psn/****psn.git is attached to this post along with the .ico I photoshop'd.

    The modified code works fine run as a compiled exe or ran straight from the .rb file using Ruby for Windows (1.9.2-p136) Was playing online most of last night with it. (Windows 7 x64)

    @narsef

    I don't know if this makes any difference but I had previously been using Charles 3.5.2 and a minimal Debian 6 x64 VmWare setup with Dnsmasq so I just replaced the previous (charles) CA24 cert with the CA24 that came with ****psn my CA27 cert hasn't been replaced, I replaced it by running the newest AsbestOS installer straight from a fresh bootup and then ran blackbox ftp server and went to dev_rwflash/data/cert using FlashFXP.

    Other than that check your routers settings and pc's network adapter settings (TCP/IPv4).
