Yet another PKG Program

I checked around the forums to find many applications for packaging PKG's and might as well release mine also.



Only difference is mine is all automated so it will generate the paths automatically and doesn't have a GUI.

You basically drag and drop the top PS3 folder into the exe file and it will do the rest if you have the tools installed correctly. Folders with spaces are OK.

Maybe helpful to some. Maybe not. I tried this on some games myself and not all work.

For people who don't know what drag and drop is. You left click and hold the Game Folder and drag onto the executable file and let go. Don't double click the program first or it will just close.

Added device.txt. Modify it to your device name (eg. /dev_usb000 etc.) then drag drop ps3 folder.

I just want to note also this program does not magically patch games to work that couldn't be patched by hand before. If you are able to patch a game by hand and this application can't do it. Contact me with the patch info and I'll add it into the app.

Tested Games
/dev_hdd0 - Final Fantasy 13 Asia Edition - Works fine
/dev_usb - Final Fantasy 13 Asia Edition - Works fine. But 1 movie file is larger than 4GB so you will have to replace it with a dummy movie or copy paste another one. But the game works from /dev_usb

/dev_hdd0 - Battle Fantasia - works fine
/dev_usb - Battle Fantasia - works fine
/dev_hdd0 - Initial D Extreme Stage - works, but has save/gamedata save problems. but still playable.

does this program allow us to choose between usb and hdd or is it only hdd?

only hdd0 but if you really have a use for it. i'll popup a box for you to choose.

if you can. tell me what you want to install it on. my ps3 only has dev_usb
