so before the start menu even pops up when the game is initially loading it just hangs, the game doesnt freeze as im able to exit but appears to load fine because it shows the whole Team Ninja Logo scene and right after it says loading and never actually loads. Anyone experience this and know how to fix??

im using multimanager 2.03 (iirc) im also using bdemu2.pkg on kmeaw. I know it should work because the game actually starts it just hangs at the loading screen. I wish i knew how to look at the data in the eboot so i can see what file is refrenced when the game loads because i dont know if im missing a file or if the file it is trying to load is corrupt, but i doubt it's corrupt, i think im missing a file or something
if someone could post a screenshot of their usrdir or whatever the main data folder is, i may be able to determine if im missing a file

I recommend you to check your external usb, it seems it has some problems because the game works perfect from external. Also, I thought that 1,5 TB is the maximum size for ps3 external usb.

i dont think its my usb because i have like 80 other games that work fine from the external. and actually i have a 1.5 TB FAT32 partition (Games) and a 500 GB NTFS partition (backed up game files like eboots and .pkg's and different fixes)
And FAT32 file system has a maximum limit of a 2 TB partition so you could actually go up to 2 TB and use with the ps3, its funny because this game works for some and not others. I was recently trying to help someone get prince of persia trilogy working and no matter what he did it wouldnt load yet works perfectly on mine and we have the exact same firmware, multiman and bdemu2.pkg
its just frustrating when u know something works but it wont work for u
