Working 100% –
01-17-2011,10:50 PM
So I have a SLIM PS3 (Came with 3.41FW)
I updated to Official FW 3.55 then added Geo-CFW to it.
Installed Multiman for 3.55
Then re-updated to Official FW 3.55
Then installed Waninkoko CFW.
Places games in backup folder
They all show up, games loading 100% so far on Multiman. Finally can play Backups again! No patching needed.
Games update perfectly.
To load game:
Go into multiman
Select game
Hit NO to go back to XMB
Run /appdata/ps3_game
Games loads and runs... can be updated.
So far I've tried Castlevania, NFS Hot Pursuit, Madden 11, Dead Rising 2, FIFA, Gran Turismo, Eternal Sonata and Infamous. All have been loading/saving/updating perfectly.
Thanks Dean for your awesome work.

How come it works for you but not anyone else? I havent heard anyone else get multiman working with Wutangrza's CFW yet. Not questioning if it's true or not, just wanting to know if that is ALL you did cause I want to do that too if it really works. You sure it was Wutangrza's, not Waninkoko's?

Why hopes up? Is something about the other CFW better? This one is doing what it's meant to do, is the other one somehow better?

Honestly I don't know since I run them off the internal and don't have an external drive to test. If it does work though you should be able to get online as the system shows 3.55 FW. I've been playing online but again, that's with internal drive.

Waninkoko CFW has caused some PS3's to brick while Wutangrza's has not, so yeah there is a difference.
