does anyone know?
There is one file above the fat32 file size limit. It is a psarc I think weighing (not waying) in at over 8GB. There is one report on demonoid (e: and one on this site) that says if you extract it then it will work on an external drive.
Otherwise Uncharted 3 is really big, like 46 GB! You can delete the 3d video files and incur spoilers while doing so, and maybe even delete the audio files for other languages, but that might shave off 10GB at best I'd reckon.
if there is a file over 4gb it can not be copied to a external drive. your best bet is to check the files and if there is a file over 4gb you might have to ftp to your ps3 internal hard drive. another way is to use multiman with a modified file it can read ntfs hard disk. uncharted 3 requires fw3.72 team duplex i believe is working on a hack to make it playable on 3.55 but i dont know if it is working
Wrong
PSarc
Can you confirm that today it is possible to make 4gb+ files work with USB drive? I would say no.
This has been disscussed many times no and so far I have not seen anyone really prove that there is a really godd soultion working out there for al such games?
Cheers!
