Hi guyz! I've got a question! When i connect my ps3 to pc i only get 100 mbs (if i use autodetection). When i try to select 1gb manually i've got "cable is not connected". So what can i do with this? I can't use my fullspeed connection... Any sugestions?

Maybe your PC Ethernet card is only 10/100MBPs... Do you have a Gigabit card?

You need of course a router, which supports serving data in the gigabit-range, so... If all of your stuff is connected to a 10/100MBit-Router, then there is your problem...

Direct cable FTP is the way to go. Got a cable from PC to PS3, and i get about 41MB avg on big files. Using FlashFXP and blackbox.

41MB/s*8=328MBit/s... So I guess you have a Gigabit-LAN-Connection on your PC, or you simply changed MBit/s & MByte/s...

nop, u r wrong guyz, my card can handle 1gp, but when i connect my pc and ps3 via cable directly, it shows me like there is just no cable in there. here is the screenshot of my device. And it does not make any difference where i change connection speed, in pc or ps3....

Then is your cable at least Cat-5? If you use the cheap shit cable that come packaged with your modem or router then that's another problem to look into. I'd recommend upgrading to Cat-5e or Cat-6 asap.
