I'm trying to back up my NBA 2K11 and I pointed all the dev_bdvd paths to dev_hdd0/NBAA2K11, but I get sent back to xmb with the error that ends in 0007 i think (im not home right now so cant verifiy). But I did notice another directory pointing to app_home/folder. The folder it was pointing to was a folder that is inside the USRDIR folder. I want to change that but I can't because that would add to the file wouldnt it? It should point to hdd0/NBAA2K11/USRDIR/folder. What should I do??

    Thanks

Since it seems like app_home points to USRDIR, try replacing "app_home/folder" with just the folder name padded with nulls. (i.e. "folder#########", where # is the null character).

It may work if it the eboot knows how to handle relative paths.

I'm gonna try to use multiman's shadow feature to make a shadow folder which has 8 characters and points to the usrdir folder, ill let you guys know if it works
