Agree! There is no risk of brick after the flash process.Waninkoko also said that do not flash it if you are not 100% sure with compatibility!

I am using Waninkoko's for a few reasons. first off, it works flawlessly for me, and with no stutter or freeze after I ran fixpermissions. Online play, GT5, Black Ops, and super easy to use!

I am sorry some small exaggerated minority got bricked because they flashed on their ancient ps3's without waiting for research or testimonials but thats their own darn fault.

Coming from the Wii scene with quite a bit of experience and knowledge on the hacks, the mods, and the programmers. I trust Waninkoko. He has earned my respect with his custom IOS's and also he has earned my faith for putting out a product and sticking with it. His Wii cIOS's are past their 20th official revision, over at least 3-4 years of work, and despite controversy from supposed 1337 hax0rs there too.

Wanin's works perfectly for me, and I see no reason to switch and advocate its usage. When $0ny releases a new update I might switch to a different new CFW depending on what the BM's choose to support. But for the time being, I am happy

Probably not. Anyways I'm installing kmeaw's right now. It seems to have the most features, and the best stability out of all of them.

I'm using Waninikoko. I installed it on day 1 and not had any problems other than 2 random xmb freezes.
All of my games work using rogero manager. I have read lots and wondered whether I should jump onto another CFW, but have decided that for now this is as good as any.

Unless someone can prove there is any real danger to my console or that one of the others is any better then I'll stick with this, until horror stories of bricking become fact

well, the way wanikoko patched lv2 is a messy and an unstable way, this is why some ps3's have bricked because of it.

kmeaw on the other hand only patched 3 bytes, 1 byte in lv1 to disable the lv2 checks, and then 2 bytes in lv2 to enable peek and poke.

also kmeaw has the patches with geohot's firmware built in aswell.

with kmeaw you can change the payload's you want to use instead of a shittly patched pl3 directly into the lv2 binary like wanikoko did.

in the end it's your choice for sure, but with minimal edits to the ps3's internal files, the best choice would be kmeaw.
