Weird Little Big Planet Profile Corruption
Weird Little Big Planet Profile Corruption –

Ok let me start off by saying I'm on 3.41 using Hermes v4b. Here's my issue. If I start LBP in non jb mode with my original disc in it says my profile is corrupt. If I start LBP from Gaia in jb mode I get the same message. BUT if I start LBP in jb mode from the original disc I don't get that message and my profile loads and I can continue playing. This is driving me crazy because I would like to be able to play in non jb mode again. Anyone have an idea of what might be going on here? Thanks!!

Same here. I tried copying the saves to a USB, deleting the PS3 one and copying it back from USB to the PS3
Now none of them work. FFS (Damn you random internet guy)
I just gave up trying and am waiting for LBP2 on Friday.
This is the second time a save has F'd up on us, the first time was pre-Jb era, and if you search for LBP save corruption, there's plenty of problems with it.
My kid has put a load of hours into this, I'll sell it to put the cash towards LBP2, and do a big "ta-da!, look it's the new one!" and hopefully she'll forget about the first one.
EDIT- Deleting the game data didn't work for me. I hoped that using CFW3.55 and/or patching the game might help, but no.

Thing is that I CAN load my profile fine, but only in jb mode using the disc. So that leads me to believe that the profile and game data are ok. I just don't get why they appear corrupt using the other two methods.
Update : I was able to fix my issue by booting into the game and exporting the profile as a backup. I then deleted the profile and started the game up and imported the backup. All is well now.
