Waninkoko HELL STORY!!
Waninkoko HELL STORY!! –

I bought a 160GB slim which had stock 3.55.. I installed Geohots 3.55 over that. Then I reverted back to OFW 3.55 in recovery mode. Then Installed Waninkoko's 3.55 in recovery mode.
All successful. Everything is as it should be.
I then Install Rogero 7.8
In the settings in there I choose DEV_HDD0 Folder path to be /devhdd0/game/gamez (I assume it doesnt matter where the location is as ive tryed numerous places)
I then Add the BLES-***** Folder into /devhdd0/game/gamez via ftp
It appears In Rogero! GREAT! I press X and it asks to fix permissions. I press OK. at this point it either freezes up and corrupts the whole game and I have to FTP it over again or it freezes for about 2 minutes then goes back to XMB (did the fix work or did it just close itself?) When I come back to Rogero I press Square to turn on BR-REQUIRED (Is this required for all games?!) then press X on the game AGAIN this time It doesnt ask to fix permissions it just takes me back to the XMB straight away.
I then Attempt to play the game via the DISC icon or the APP_HOME folder
(The disc icon changes from the actual game in the drive to the game I loaded in rogero)
Both give the same error 'Disc read error. Please quit and restart the game'
What am I doing wrong?
Is it the path of the BLES folder?
No success here for any games atall using this new waninkoko CFW

Try making a backup of a game you actually own in Rogero, rather than FTPing games you have downloaded online to your PS3.
See if that works. Also, as per the top of this webpage "PS3 Game Backup Discussion about backing up your PS3 discs. Discussion of warez is not allowed." No one is likely to help you figure out how to get games you've downloaded online to work on the system.
