Waninkoko CFW Eventual Success Story

I had been on 3.41 and enjoying every game imaginable, often times with updates, and since all the keys became public I was even enjoying GT5 and the Sly Cooper Collection on my 3.41 firmware! It was a dream! I barely even cared about PSN and could live without it or online playing. But that allure of not needing to perform the usb exploit each and every time I turned on my Playstation was too much and with Wanin's 3.55 firmware I researched and then successfully installed it.

Much to my chagrin though I could not get a single game to work from Multiman or Rogero's BM! I was at wits end! Deeply saddened that the great compatibility I used to have had turned into no compatibility I tried just about everything imaginable and was about to ftp out my save files, reformat my HDD, re-ftp new games with orig eboots, and pray it worked. And if that did not work I was going to try a risky downgrade back to 3.41

Well in my countless hours scanning this site and others I found a signed fixpermissions.pkg and figured I would try it, despite doubting its effectiveness.

It WORKED! I was sooo happy. Online, updates, all games regardless of SDK used to compile!

Thought I would post a simple thread dictating what I did to finally find success on Waninkoko's CFW :]

I just installed this pkg and then ran it from the XMB. I really hope this helps people out in similar situations <3

TLDR: I installed this pkg and now all games work on Multiman BM in Waninkoko's CFW 3.55

is the sly collection your running modified? o_O
if so, is it working on 3.55? D;

sly collection is completely unmodified. and works like a charm on 3.55. Same with Red Dead Redemption, if anyone was curious.

Even the first sly cooper, which did not run on 3.41 ;D
