Uncharted require install? Need help clearing space off internal HD?

I cleaned out everything visible, and only come up w/ 43 GB free. This includes no photo/movie/music, removed all installed files, and psn games and ps3 games. The only files I see i have are my regular save files, I have quite a few and dont want to remove them 1 by 1. But even if i did this, I dont think it takes up more than 200 mb.

I'm ripping the game and it requires like 42 gb. So is any additional install required? or will the size increase after I apply Nobody's update/fix? Maybe i have a small game on ps3 internal hd, where/how can I remove more files/data to clean up more space?

you don't have to format your hdd, you can delete all the unnecessary files from the uncharted 3 game folders, such as the 3d movies, and languages you don't need, the game was like 29gb when i took all that stuff out, and it runs good.

Does this site give everyone connection issues or is it just my PC?

How big is your internal harddrive, have you deleted all Game Data from Game Data Utility

It really is worth the effort copying it across to the HDD, it may take an hour, but the loading times are like 20 seconds instead of 3-4 minutes at certain places.

well you can always upgrade your internal hard drive the ps3 uses a standard 2.5 SATA hard drive or get a external hard drive and format it to fat32 or you can just format the internal hard drive you have now
