Hmm. All I had to do was edit the 2 to a 1 in 3.42000 in the PKGDIR Param.sfo (not the one in the directory with the package itself)
Then I just installed it from XMB once the disc was loaded, and it installed like a PSN file. After this, so as to not waste space, I went a step further and deleted the INSTALL.pkg of Frontline from my internal backup. Voila, Frontline installed to XMB, complete internal install (4444mb), runs like a PSN title.
Or use any hex editor of your choice or whatever.
Leave your Medal of Honor disc backup alone otherwise, although it will have to go on internal due to this package being over 4GBs. Use a manager to load MoH backup to XMB, and there will be an extra option under the main disc which lets you install Frontline. Click that, run the package from there. 4444mb install, takes a while, but once it's done it'll be installed under the XMB like a PSN title. You can then erase your backup of INSTALL.pkg in the pk00 folder, as you won't need it again.
By saying further i dont mean explain the procedure like i am 5 years old.
Like i said before is not working for me because in the XMB i only see the main disc icon.
No extra disc with bonus content.
P.S. I have the EUR and not the USA version like you.
Pawsed, thank you. I appreciate the screenshots. I am gonna try it now. Thanks.
For reference, what type of payload and manager are you using to play back your backups?
It works as you said. Just edited the PARAM.SFO file from 03.4200 to 03.4100 using PS3 SFO Edit.
Latest PL3 for Miniums v1, though I've had to use fixPermissions pkg a few times, but otherwise works fine.
