TUT: How to get COD: Black Ops working on v3.41!

I think what he means is, what about us North American peeps. We would like to use the nunracer00 tutorial, but BLESXXXXX is the resource. What about a Black Ops Patch BLUS30591.rar. The reference is BLES this, BLES that.
I really do appreciate the work everyone has done. Very impressive.

This is the working one [sp/mp both works / No need to Hexedit the metadata_db_hdd]

1. Delete the game update 1.02 from internal HDD if you have installed the Call Of Duty update before
   
   
   
2. Extract files from COD_BO_BLUS30591_pack.zip
   
3. Overwrite files onto the folder you have your game GAMEZ\BLUS3059
   
   (the actual game folder not the update folder dev_hdd0\game\BLUS3059)
   
   
4. Use your manager to load the game (with a disc inside). Select Call Of Duty disc icon.

Guys, Thanks so much for this...

I just did Jays/Nuns Method and I am pleased to report everything is now working for me.

After hours of trying, I did this method and now its working perfectly for me!!
Will report later on Multiplayer but Campaign is working perfect!!

Prior to this all I was getting was black screens and errors etc...

Yes. Be sure to make sure the PARAM.SFO file says app version 1.02

Yes, FTP to your ps3 internal GAMEZ (or BDRIPS or wathever) folder.
