TUT: How to get COD: Black Ops working on v3.41!

Jay - Jay thanks for your tips, ive already tried that, but the only problem that i have is that when i copy the already edited metadata_db_hdd from the USB stick to the PS3's HDD, it just doesnt do anything(propably), because when i copy back again the file to the pc to just check if the version is 3.40, i just realize that is still 3.50 and it sucks.. I want to avoid FTP cause i dont know how to use it. I mean do i use a LAN cable to connect the PC with the PS3?

No connect both devices to your router/modem and the modem will do the rest. After that boot up black box FTP and then put in the IP that's on the screen into your FTP program.

i have changed the modpack and removed the prams and added the multiplayer data to the pack.

Make sure you are uploading the file you save in the hex editor and not the backup that it creates (makes a backup of the file after you save the file).

Also try deleting the file that is on your PS3 HDD and then transfer the new file. Perhaps it's not getting overwritten when it gets transferred. For the record, what are you using to copy from the USB and HDD?
