Trying to boot Dead Rising 2
Trying to boot Dead Rising 2 –

But I don't know the file directory, I get all the way to UPDATE and I hit "No" and than it'll say CORRUPTED GAME DATA
My game id is BLES00948 Can somebody help me?
also my dead rising is about 5.67 gigs when I ftped it but I think it's supposed to be bigger than that can somebody check that out for me to.
heres the .pkg I'm using
UP0001-BLES00948_00-0000000000000000.pkg
For GTA I put it in Hddo/STR/GTA4/USRDIR
but for this I don't know if i should do ^ that or
Hddo/game/BLES00948/USRDIR
If someone knows the correct dirrectory can they tell the directory but say it so it's detailed as in now go into game and make a new folder called BLES00948. I'm fairly new to this .PKG business I've been using backup manager and I just upgraded to 3.55 but modded GTA 4 is a beautiful thing and I want a modded dead rising 2.

EDIT : Just found something to fix it
What I did was let it update, went into multiMan, moved the BLUS Folder containing the whole game into a folder I created on the HDD(Select + O to move files btw)
Reinstalled the PKG, went back to multiMan deleted the BLUS folder it installed in the hdd(game folder, make sure 2 backup the EBOOT it came with though)
Then moved the updated BLUS Folder back into the original game folder on the harddrive and replaced the EBOOT with the one that came with the PKG and WALLA, just hit circle when it ask to update and it should run!

Your getting a error because the game ID. When editing & making a .pkg for this game you need to change the game ID on the .pkg + edit the game ID inside the PARAM.sfo. + You need to make a custom directory inside the EBOOT.BIN like = hdd0/DR2/BACK/USRDIR/.
This needs to be done because the game (USRDIR) & the install data game data cant be in the same location & thats why your getting that error. Ill find the tutorial here on how to fix this.
2min.
EDIT: http://psx-scene.com/forums/f187/edi...ny-size-75780/ (Editing PS3 EBOOT to allow for custom paths of any size!!!!)
