    So I've got two situations.

First - I'm trying to transfer Playstation All-Stars Battle Royal from my internal HDD to my External. The game has almost 24,000 files, and MultiMAN gives up after an hour or so. Is there a file transfer homebrew that will persevere better than MultiMAN? Or is there a setting I'm missing that will ignore the "remaining time" calculations? (I feel that when the remaining time calculation maxes out at a certain amount, MultiMAN aborts. Am I right?)

Second - I've got a couple games, Playstation Move Heroes and the Ratchet and Clank Collection, that both have over 10,000 files. When ripping, MultiMAN does basically the same thing as above. It calculates a ridiculous remaining time due to the number of files, and aborts when it reaches too high a time. These are the only two games I own that still need to be backed up, so is there a method, setting, or better homebrew for ripping?

Could you rip them to your PC using FTP? You can then just ftp back over to your GAMEZ folder. Not the fastest way but should negate any problems you've been having

yeah i had same problem, updated Mm and it took long time!
you could ftp from external that is connected to pc . there are no big files so it should work.
i know its slow but it works.(i was a little disappointed in the game myself since its better online, but since the bans started i havent been online)

Okay, so FTPing seemed to work. I've got the games backed up.

New question though...does the Ratchet and Clank Collection have issues being played on the external drive? I can get it to initially load, and run the intros of the games, but it always ends up freezing on the space travel loading screens. It will fly past the given number of times, and then stop on the screen where you arrive at a planet. (ie. Ratchet and Clank 3, starting a new game, arriving to Veldin. Ship flies off, but the screen gets stuck at the view of Veldin.) PS Button does not respond, but my external HDD is continually blinking. Is this a game where I need it on the internal? Or is there some kind of trick or fix? (I've tried both regular and BD Emu methods thus far, and do not currently have enough internal space to attempt. Waiting until I can clear Darksiders II after I finish the DLC dungeons.)

I've had the same problems ripping my copies of Katamari Forever and Killzone 3 to BOTH my internal and external HDDs. They will reach a certain percent completion (72% for Katamari Forever, don't remember the exact percentage on Killzone) then the time will start counting back up instead of down. I've left it set for over an hour and a half and it stays at the same percentage and I finally give up, delete the partial process and shut the system off. Is there ANYTHING I can do to make it go faster? or at all for that matter? What am I doing wrong?
