Hi, I am running Kmeaw 3.55 at the moment never connected to PSN but i'm allowing connection to the internet for such things as FTP and on demand tv ect...
I recently got Tiger Woods to play with my Move controller but I need to update to version 1.02 in order to avail of the Move capabilities, I wouldnt normally update a game while running CFW but i felt the need to do so with this particular game.
The update started and I noticed its suspiciously similar in size to a console FW update (around 250mb). I cancelled straight away
Just wondering could anyone shed some light on this situation and let me know whether the update is actually this big and safe to download or is it a FW update in disguise.

    Thanks

You know, I can usually tell a new user by the thread title, and boy, I wasn't surprised here. Updates are safe to download. Sony will not push a firmware update on you without your permission. Even if they did, you'd still have the ability to say no to it at least twice before it'd install. If you don't trust downloading updates, there are plenty of programs that you can find on this site that will allow you to download updates for your games and install them via USB. Had you done a search, you probably would have known this. Please search for your answer next time instead of opening a new thread. This place is getting harder and harder to find answers for questions because of every new user thinking they have to make a new thread for their issue when it's been discussed a bunch of times before. Oh, and welcome to the site.
