I haven't been able to find any app to split files over 4GB for my OS, I've searched here, in Google and a bunch of other places and nothing. Is there any way I can do this?.

I think he means so that he can copy them to an external drive. In my case (also running OSX), I copy all of the files to an external drive, copy from the external to the internal using Comgenie or manager of choice, and then overwrite the >4gb files using FTP. That way, I have to FTP less data and the full game is on my internal PS3 drive much quicker.

there is no app to split big files (+4gb) for mac.

the only way you can do it is to get one of the many windows apps and i suppose try it in darwine, but your best bet would to use virtualbox or vmware and run a VM with windows on it.

when you copy it from the external drive to your ps3, the manager you use joins them as it copies them.
