Splitting Files Over 4GB on Mac OSX
Splitting Files Over 4GB on Mac OSX –
I haven't been able to find any app to split files over 4GB for my OS, I've searched here, in Google and a bunch of other places and nothing. Is there any way I can do this?.
what for? do you have files bigger than 8 EiB (8000000000000000000 bytes)?
dont know but ftp to the ps3 and use open manager to copy to external and it will split the file
is there a wine for mac? if so, use it to run comgenies filesplitter
I think he means so that he can copy them to an external drive. In my case (also running OSX), I copy all of the files to an external drive, copy from the external to the internal using Comgenie or manager of choice, and then overwrite the >4gb files using FTP. That way, I have to FTP less data and the full game is on my internal PS3 drive much quicker.

the only way you can do it is to get one of the many windows apps and i suppose try it in darwine, but your best bet would to use virtualbox or vmware and run a VM with windows on it.
Once the files are on your HDD is 4 Gigabyte incriments how do you jion them???

good idea i didnt think about those, for some reason i though that the managers use a special format to split files but they probably dont.
