im sure i unchecked everything....i launch it from disc icon, and i inserted sports champ disc.
at this point, do i need bdemu2?
if i need bdemu2, just put this pkg in my usb then install?
Try another disc. I've heard some don't have the best compatibility as loader discs. You're using the same bdemu I am, but it wouldn't hurt to reinstall bdemu2 just to check
ok, thank you for ur help...
i will try put another disc like KZ3, DS2, RE5 sth like that...
so, if i want install bdemu2, just install that like the other pkg file?
hang on a second - I remember how I got it to work. The problem is that LA Noire needs to install files to your internal hard disk. The only way to install these files is to either do it from the original disc or by having your backup on your external drive and using SELECT + X in multiman to launch the game. After multiman exits and you launch the game from the xmb, it will do the install. After the game installs you can move your backup back to your internal drive if that's where you prefer to have it. If you do, just make sure you uncheck all the game options in multiman. Sorry man, must have been a brain fart but that should get it working for you
edit: if you want to leave it on your internal then don't move it, just make a copy on your external drive to do the install process. Then delete the backup that you don't want
thanks for telling me that....=]
i reback up again rite now
then intsert other disc to try see wht happen...
if i want make a back up on ext hd, but this has more 4+gb file, how to back up on that?
Forgot about the big file - Try manually doing the install
I'm sending you all the install data but you'll have to copy the following from your game disc/backup into dev_hdd0/game/BLES00933_INSTALL/USRDIR/teambondi/final/ps3 because the files are too big to upload to this server:
just put the 2 directories I'm sending you into dev_hdd0/game and then copy the following from your game backup folder/USRDIR/final/ps3 into dev_hdd0/game/BLES00933_INSTALL/USRDIR/teambondi/final/ps3
you may have to reset your ps3 after copying these files over for your ps3 to recognize the changes - it's funny like that sometimes with stuff in the game folder. If that doesn't fix your game, then your backup is bad for some reason
I just ran the game to try and figure out why you're having so much trouble. You're not installing the 1.02 when prompted are you? That update uses higher keys and will prevent you from playing the game every time
what firmware is he using? And has he played any other back ups? Also does he have the Eboot fix? Because LA noire is a 3.60 game out the box. Is he trying to direct boot? Because that doesn't work for LA noire. Has he tried fixing premissions?
@Cyris - he says he's using hermes payload, so he's got bdemu, and I've given him the 3.55 fix and PARAM.SFO from my copy. We both have the same disc version and I kept my param.sfo + fix in case I accidentally updated to 1.02 because that's on higher firmware keys. That way I could just delete the game data and reinstall the fix and be back up and running instead of hunting down the fix - Good thing by the way with the current state of file hosting sites. If you look at one of my earlier posts it says something about Edit: deleted from server (something like that) - that was the correct fix, I've even reinstalled it to make sure it was correct and I wasn't giving him bad info. I just gave him the contents of the game directory with the exception of a few files that he can copy straight from his disc because of size concerns. I'm at a loss on this one - You may be right about his firmware - that fix works for 3.55 consoles. If he's using 3.41 it won't work. Why anyone is still on 3.41 at this point in the game is still a mystery to me. Dongles are too much of a pain in the ass and are very restrictive
