Someone plz help!!!!!! LA Noire!!!

hi guys, is me again...<---dumb ass...lol

today i purchased LA Noire(US) only cost me 19.99...
then i back home used MM to make a backup copy, but...im not able to play on my ps3
then i searched how to make it work on cfw 3.55..
honest to god, i followed the instruction...
changed sfo from BLUS to BLES, then let MM changed to 3.55, then installed the EUR pkg (or maybe i should say i tried both EUR and US version), then ran the game from MM...

but....the sad thing was...BLACK SCREEN!!
i wonder did i do sth worng...??
or somebody can give me a quick response or a TUT tell me how to make it work...

Got you covered. Just changing BLUS to BLES will still screw you up you need to change it to BLES00933 then install the update package for the EURO version. Don't know what you installed, but this is the one I installed and works great on mine. I kept the file, so I know it will work

replace the param.sfo in your backup of LA Noire and install the pkg I gave you. Let me know when you get it fixed so i can take it off the server

oh, and I've got it running off the internal drive - don't know if it makes a difference.

first, mine is US version, it works with EUR version pkg?
and the other question is....in the hd0 (which my LA Noire backup copy located) --->Games---->BLUS30554 [L.A. Noire] <---do i need to change this one to BLES00933 and the rest of them remain the same???

tmr morning, i will delete LAN in my internal hd, delete all the pkg file, then re-copy to hd again,
then use the file u gave me.
lets see wht happen then.
ohhh..do i need to use FTP to replace that SFO file?

here are wht i will do tmr...
1. make a copy again
2. use FTP to replace that SFO????
3. then...back to XMB install that pkg first, or push X in the MM to run the game first then install pkg???

Mine is the US version as well. The param.sfo file I gave you will make your ps3 think that it's the European version. The update I gave you is for the European game. That's all you need to make the game work. The European update uses I think 3.50 keys but the game uses 3.60 keys. The update overrides the game. This is all you need to do

1. Do not re-backup your game. If it's already on there just leave it - It's a big game and takes a while to backup
2. replace the PARAM.SFO of your game disc backup with the one I gave you
3. Install the pkg I gave you
4. Launch game. I haven't played it in a while so I don't know if there's a newer update, but if it asks you to update again - don't. It will probably stop the game from working


So basically you're just tricking your PS3 into thinking your US game is a different disc

no, you don't need to change the name of the game folder

you can either use ftp to transfer the param.sfo or throw it on your usb stick and use multiman's file manager to find the original file in your disc backup and replace it with the new one. Don't worry, it's safe - it's from my personal copy

If you have the pkg file on the root of your usb drive, then you'll launch the game from multiman, install the pkg from the xmb, then launch the game from the xmb. If you get stuck let me know but it's easier than it sounds

where is your backup? internal or external?
have you installed bdemu2?

Mine's on internal with hermes payload selected in multiman.
Did you replace the SFO with the one I gave you?
try deleting the LA Noire data from the game data tool in the xmb game category and reinstalling the pkg file before you try to run. You might have bad data from your previous efforts

not really sure what you're missing. Where are you trying to launch the game from? Don't try to do it discless. check the game's settings in multiman and make sure everything is unchecked. Are you trying to launch from the disc icon in the xmb or from app_home? What game disc do you have inserted?
