i original had hermes 4b so i tried PL3 and no dice
probs gonna need a payload update to fix this issue
oh and ps this game has more problems than no sound
it is actually unplayable as every time you finish a match your ps3 will reset itself with 3 beeps, so that will need to be looked into
until then i am just playing with my orignal disc in non jb mode
i dont think its a payload issue..
Has ANYONE gotten the PARAM.SFO to open with any program? If you use PS3 SFOEdit it gives the error people have mentioned, and you can then click into advanced and it doesn't have some of the fields that are in any other .SFO file. I think someone is going to have to make an .SFO for this game or something.

i looked at it in notepad... looks fine to me.. i dunno.. somethings not right... i dont think its as simple as we all think it is
After a few combinations of trying to get it to work, I've come to my own take on what the problem might be.
I'ts not a payload issue, the installed gamedata is not being read. Everything is in that folder from sound to huge parts of the game. If the game is trying to access something that isn't there, instant freeze. It's late, but tomorrow I may ftp in that folder and try to take a stab at it.
Typing all of this on my dualshock is a first and last time lol
I got the psp 2010 version, they completely changed the controls and was bloody shit.
Wondering if the controls are diff or not?

Thank you Geohot and fail0verfl0w for fully hacking the PS3.
thats what im thinking something thats on the Bluray-Disc is not copying over, something that the open managers is not recognizing.
