Hi,

What do you mean by "build it on my own"?Buy a Seagate HDD 1TB.Cheap and reliable.Stay away from Western Digital drives. You can format it to FAT32 or wait for full NTFS support by BMs in a couple of weeks maybe.
Build it on my own means buy a normal HDD and a case.
OK, i will look for Seagate. Have two in my PC and they run well.
If you have a walmart near i got a seagate 1.5tb a couple weeks ago for $70 plus tax.. has worked like a dream
as I heared ps3 can support up to 2TB,but physical dimensions is the only barrier ,because internal bracket can accommodate 9.8mm height , which can be only in 750Gb hdd max,I m using 1TB which is 12.4mm height but without bracket, hope this help u.
