Ok, I always look up things about external because I have a external drive that I like to run my games from. Basically I do this because I have a 40gb internal. And mostly because I am to lazy and cheap to buy a new internal when I have a fully working 1Tb external.
I see alot of people who, when someone asks "can I run X game on external" just answer quickly NO! But have we really thought through why it doesn't work and is it really the true answer.
For example I see some people say no to uncharted 2 but I play it fully online with my external. I just unarced it with psarc.exe
The people who are skilled, can you tell me for example why killzone3 does not work with same method as Uncharted 2?
I mean a psarc is just a container that in runtime gets extracted to folders and then run. When extracting a psarc and running already extracted, shouldn't the game be even faster?
There has to be some small adjustment somewhere to make it work.
Any thoughts and ideas? I just don't like people saying no without proper research I am thinking of maybe modify the eboot.bin to usb000 in all places but multiman should emulate correctly anyway so it should not be needed.
Maybe copying "the right" files to internal so the rest is ran from external correctly.
