Ripping games to external Hard Drive

While I am ripping games to my external hard drive, some games work and some games get an "error" while ripping. I know some games won't run on an external hard drive but I wanted to just store games on the external and transfer onto my internal drive when I want to play them. Are all games able to rip to external or getting "error" messages normal and some games just wont transfer to an external hard drive? I hope you guys can understand this.

Try another backup manager. All of them should be able to backup games to the external. If they have files over 4GB they'll be auto-split for storage use only until you move the game to the internal HDD.
