Resistance: Fall of Man- freezes when copying

By now i have tried at least 20 times to copy this game over. I've also tried many different methods. I tried internal and external HDD. Tried 3 diff versions of multiman (ie 1.13, 1.14, 1.15.01 and internal and external on all 3). All have same results. Stops at 42% and time just keeps going up and percent done never moves. Will not let me abort operation or anything on 1.13 or 1.14 but seems as though it will on 1.15. Its stuck on the file: /dev_bdvd/PS3_GAME/USRDIR/packed/levels/level41/ps3dialoguestream.d.dat Im trying it right now on 1.15 and im just gonna let it run till i get sick of looking at it.

Hey man, i had the same problem with one of my games when trying to rip with multiMan, it was ALWAYS freezing on 51%.

I read that it might have something to do with the way multiman calculates the percentage when ripping the data, somebody said it can cause it to freeze (once it has stopped transferring, even for a minute - there is no point waiting for it to resume because apparently it wont..)

So what i did is this, i started copying the game with multiman, then pressed 'O' to go 'back' (do this BEFORE you get the error) this will get rid of the percentage bar, it will still be copying etc but tell you what files/directories are being copied - not the prettiest but it did the trick for me and my game ripped no worries after that.

i already tried that. i always press O if anything goes wrong so i can see what file was transferring when it happened. thanks for the reply tho.

GT5 done the same at 79% for me, I got another copy of the game and it ripped just fine. You have a bad source disc even if it plays fine in a ps3.

the problem is the multiman not the BD
use other apps to rip ur games

I had this issue with Uncharted 2 and some other large games. My only solution was to rip it with the original Backup Manager released by the original Jailbreak crew. Don't know if that thing will run on any current CFW though.

forgot to mention i tried open manager too. i think its the disc too. i didnt mention cuz i figured everyone would think i was stupid bc everyone always says that u cant damage a bluray. "it will read or play no matter what!" so i guess no backup for resistance. or maybe i will trade in and get another.
