Removing OpenManager from 3.55 firmware?
Removing OpenManager from 3.55 firmware? –
I had the Geohot CFW on my 3.55 slim.
And I installed OpenManager and BlackboxFTP.
Now to be sure not to get banned on my new second PS3 I tried to remove the custom firmware by installing the OFW 3.55.
This was a succes only I forgot to remove the homebrew .
Now I removed BlackboxFTP by simply uninstalling it.
But when I try to do the same for OpenManager it says that it can't remove due to damage data.
Now the icon changed aswell and I'm stuck with a broken data icon.
Can anybody tell me how I can make my PS3 slim original again so I don't risk a ban in the future. (because I allready have a phat PS3 on 3.41)
you can format the hard drive via an option in the system setting i think
Yeah thats true but then I have to copy all of my save data again.

You should have just left it alone. They cant ban you for the software you have on your hardware.

Turn off PS3

That should do it!
